In June, East Wintergarden held a client showcase inviting prospective and local clients to tour the Canary Wharf space.
Designed by the renowned architect César Pelli, after East Winter Garden New York, East Wintergarden is influenced by the heyday of art deco, with a unique polychrome marble floor and wraparound beech-panelled walls.
The Main Hall, which boasts the venue’s crowning feature of a 27 metre-high glass dome, was presented in a round table dinner set up. Versatile staging was set by in-house production partners Vibration Production, to highlight the flexibility of the space itself.
The smallest space at East Wintergarden, The Promenade Room, was also made accessible to clients and attendees who could observe it set as a boardroom. Overlooking The Isle of Dogs, this intimate space is flooded with natural light, and views of the waterfront, creating a positive ambience.
Overlooking the Main Hall is The Gallery, a mezzanine level where attendees were treated to mimosas and brunch by preferred catering partners Moving Venue. As well as a bar, live cooking station, and soft furnishings, entertainment providers Full Circle brought the fun with a classic black and white photobooth. From this level, attendees could also observe the uninterrupted sight lines and views across the Wharf which contribute to the memorability of events at East Wintergarden.
