The 16th Floor at York Road, our flagship venue within the Spaces & Stories WeWork Collection, hosted an extraordinary Summer Showcase on the 27th of April.
Versatility is a word that comes to mind when describing York Road and the evenings atmosphere reflected this concept synonymously. With 16th Floor and Terrace expansive view over London, The Auditoriums exclusivity and the privacy of York Road’s Speakeasy, the event brought together over a hundred guests for a one-of-a-kind experience.
As a soft evening light flooded through the venue, a private tour was given of The Auditorium and Speakeasy’s distinctive modern design. On the 16th Floor attendees were invited to sample a selection of canapes and pizzas prepared by catering partner Baxter Storey, with cocktails and mocktails provided by Twist London. And for those with a sweet tooth, Need also offered their vegan ice cream sandwiches.
The Summer Showcase wouldn't have been complete without our suppliers who added their own touch of elegance to the space. Full Circle presented the crowd with their roaming saxophonist, photo booth, and DJ. While Pinstripes & Peonies, renowned for their tasteful floral designs, elevated the space with arrangements of plants, candles, and lanterns.
From corporate gatherings to social celebrations, York Road offers an exceptional space that combines elegance and functionality. The Summer Showcase lay precedence to what this multifaceted venue can offer, including the spacious Terrace which serves as the perfect backdrop for mingling and conversation; especially with warmer evenings upon us. With its capacity to accommodate up to 150 people, the terrace opens out to a vast and picturesque setting.
