Silvertown Quays sits within Victoria Dock, a former thriving industrial centre that began welcoming steam ships in 1855.
Named after the factories built in the nineteenth century by the industrialist Stephen William Silver, the area is one of London’s biggest regeneration projects. The largely vacant 63-acre site is being transformed to bring new housing, culture and commerce to Newham.
With untouched post-industrial landscapes and views across the capital, East London’s gateway to the capital is home to a thriving creative scene.
Nearby cultural attractions include the ExCel exhibition centre, the University of East London and the Thames Barrier Park.
Silverworks Island is easily accessible from London and beyond, and just a short distance from the Beams.
A ten-minute walk from London City Airport, the space is easily accessible by public transport, including the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), London Underground, Crossrail and cable car.
