With floor-to-ceiling views of the river Thames and the Canary Wharf skyline, Space 1 provides a striking setting for large-scale events and displays.

In the daytime, the seven-metre high space is flooded with natural light, while at dusk the windows glow with the lights of the city across the river. The design is understated and luxurious, with black walls and polished concrete floors.

Two designer raw steel staircases lead to mezzanine levels, and glass doors provide direct access to the outside space of the Showground, a riverside terrace that can accommodate a further 7,000 guests outdoors.

Space 1 is suited to a range of uses, with LED lights that bathe the space and L’Ecoustic speakers. It would be the ideal venue for exhibitions and conferences, large-scale automotive and product launches, and for weddings and private parties that spill onto the terrace.

Space 2 is the largest internal space at Magazine London. A state-of-the-art, fully customisable ‘black box’, it caters to the world’s most ambitious audiovisual and performance events.

This central space was designed for the future, purposed towards adaptability and versatility. Black walls, polished concrete floors and blackout partitions allow for truly immersive experiences. The space can be divided into smaller spaces or kept open, with a large performance stage that can be configured for a range of uses.

Space 2 features removable staging infrastructure, high specification roof-mounted sound and lighting, and provides direct vehicle access for automotive launches and displays.

The space is ideal for conferences, large-scale performances, award ceremonies, dinners and exhibitions.

Both Mezzanines are accessible via two industrial steel staircases in Space 1 and can be utilized as VIP areas or as overflow for higher guest numbers; they can also operate as break-out, seminar and exhibition spaces.

Mezzanine 2 overlooks the main space and provides access to The Balcony, an intimate area featuring stained timber decking. The Balcony serves as an impeccable viewing platform for the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline.

At 9,700 square metres, The Showground is one of the largest riverside event spaces in London. It has an outdoor capacity of up to 7,000 people and uninterrupted views of the city skyline.

It provides a unique setting for summer parties, festivals and cultural events, with extensive space for large installations and photoshoots, away days and product and vehicle displays.The area can be also used as an extension to an indoor space, such as Space 1, which has direct access to the Showground.

Additional structures such as marquees, ticketing booths and staging can be arranged.

Visible from the North Greenwich Underground station opposite, The Entrance makes a strong first impression. Its pared-back aesthetic and mirrored bank of windows provide the perfect canvas for partnerships, with a frontage that can be fully branded.

The space includes a dedicated cloakroom, a foyer area with hidden hatches for registering or serving guests, and a space to create a step and repeat. There is ample outside space for queuing.
